See, they lie to you and get you to stock your shelves with every “fat free” and “low fat” product on the market. What they fail to tell you is that when they remove the fat, they actually load the product up with tons of sugar.

I met Steve & Cynthia on Oriente St. in Yorba Linda at my very first Women’s Boot Camp and my life in the world of physical fitness and nutrition has never been the same since. I was immediately hooked on the intense workout and excitement of, plainly put, just getting into shape! After having 4 children, I was 140 pounds and being 5 ft 3 inches tall, that was overweight and yes it was a lot from baby gain weight but none the less it had to come off. I knew that the Women’s Boot Camp was for me and I was excited to get started!
I continued to do the Women’s Boot Camp and began personal training with Cynthia. I became passionate about getting in shape, losing weight and body fat, and eating right …. thanks to the positive commitment that Cynthia gave me in my personal training sessions. She was motivating to me and always told me that losing that pudge around the middle was possible after 4 children. She said with the dedication to exercise and good nutrition during the week – it would come off! In January 2009, I was at 23% body fat – six months later I was at 16% body fat and 122lbs. I was ecstatic at the results so far, but for me I wanted to drop 7 more pounds. At this time, God laid it on my heart to go after a dream that I had for a long time- it was to run for Mrs. California. So I knew (from words from my trainer) that I had to be more diligent in my nutrition and exercise and that losing an additional 7 lbs would be no problem. I worked hard and had fun doing it. The pageant was in June just a couple months away. I went after my dream on June 20, 2009 and I won 3rd runner-up in the Mrs. California-America Pageant representing Orange County. I was so happy, with the training from Cynthia and the Women’s Boot Camp I was able to accomplish my goal. My final weight before the pageant was 114lbs and with 14% body fat. I thank God for my success, my husband and kids supporting me, and Cynthia for always being such and amazing encourager and example to me. With my daily life as a wife and mother of 4 children, I continue to eat right, exercise with weekly boot camps and encourage my family and other women I meet to do the same and never give up on your dreams, what ever they are.
